PROJECT IDENTITY AND CONTEXT

EcoHeroes Join the Plastic-Free Revolution is an Erasmus+ Smallscale Partnership in Adult Education (KA210-ADU), coordinated by FICUS ETS and implemented in Italy, Bulgaria and Malta. The project addresses a key challenge: while awareness of plastic pollution is growing, many adults still lack the practical tools and support needed to change everyday behaviours. EcoHeroes turns awareness into action through hands-on activities, community engagement and creative participation, helping individuals adopt more sustainable lifestyles and contribute to a collective environmental impact.

FROM INFORMATION TO BEHAVIOUR CHANGE

Plastic pollution is one of the most pressing environmental issues of our time, affecting ecosystems, communities and overall well-being. Despite increasing awareness, lasting behavioural change remains difficult to achieve without practical solutions and social support. EcoHeroes responds by combining non-formal learning, experimentation and community-based actions within a European collaboration. By connecting partners and participants across Italy, Bulgaria and Malta, the project supports the development of realistic, sustainable habits rooted in everyday life.
